Thanks - I was looking at his TRN profile and it had Stanford listed and no other schools so I assumed that was a commitment. Not used to seeing only one school listed - usually when it's like that it's a commitment.

Please quit using the term " College Team Name, yr" if the person din't graduate from the university!! Liam Caruana didn't spend a semester at Texas and you are saying " Texas '15....PLEASE!! Respect for the Players that have graduated from their Universities... Bobby...Player's name...University...Graduation Year...if they didn't graduate...do not say they are part of the university with the Year!! Just the name of the university....
I used to put an asterisk saying the year was the last time the individual played at the school but I've gotten away from it lately - sounds like I need to make that notation again.
Leaving the year out all together doesn't give you an idea of when they played at the school so that's why I include it. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes. Bobby Knight is the "Stat" man. He has been for years. Bayliss of Notre Dame use to get in touch with B.K. years ago to get the stats on if his player(s) would get into NCAA's. B.K. prides himself on the facts and accurate stats. Bobby is now known for "College Tennis". He is dropping the Ball on this issue. Knight is All about Research. It's time to start doing more. Get your Jersey on B.K.....the Varsity is calling.
I do like my stats but I can't take credit for being Bayliss's contact years ago at ND - that may have been Granger.
I like to report the results with a mention of where the individual played college tennis along with the last year when they played. As I mentioned above I'll put an asterisk next to known non-graduates but when I'm listing the results of 10+ players to go out of my way to find out if an individual physically obtained a degree isn't the best use of my time. Unless a school puts out a release that says player A graduated on XYZ date then aside from contacting the individual themselves there isn't a way to know if they really graduated after playing their final semester/quarter of college tennis. I like to highlight those that played college tennis whether it be for 3 months (Dima/Caruana) or 4 years.
Knight is all about research but the time to research needs to be relevant enough to add value. I don't believe that a lack of a degree diminishes the accomplishments of what is achieved at a pro event - it may in your mind but not mine. We will have to agree to disagree on this issue.
